I Spill Fantastic

Abstract

This thesis is a full-length collection of original poetry in four parts. Each section functions within its own thematic structure, but most of the poems vary in form and content. Part III is a series of interlocking sonnets, which is generally refered to as a “heroic sonnet crown.” The poems throughout the thesis are primarily focused on issues of and resulting from parenthood, contemporary intimate relationships, heritage, and identity.
