The School of Community Health Sciences (SCHS) is for anyone who is passionate about pursuing a career in the health industry. Recognizing health requires a multi-faceted approach, SCHS emphasizes multiple perspectives in its curriculum, including the emotional, spiritual, environmental and physical. The School offers a minor, an undergraduate degree, a master's degree, a Ph.D., as well as dual degree programs with the Orvis School of Nursing and the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine. Graduates from the School of Community Health Sciences are prepared to promote and protect the health of communities nearby and around the world.
