Unmanned Autonomous System Swarm, UASS, provides a means for a single operator to control a swarm of unmanned autonomous systems (UAS). Each operator will utilize a computer interface to control the UAS swarm. The current supported drones are the Parrot AR.Drone 2.0 and Pioneer ground robots. Each autonomous system runs the Robot Operating System (ROS) to give an operator control, and will be communicating with a Unity3D Game Engine to provide a user interface. UASS can be expanded for further drone research, or could be sold as a commercial product. This project is a collaboration between David Anderson, Chris Forkner, Niki Silveria, Dr. Sushil J Louis, and Dr. Monica Nicolescu.
