<bold>Abstract</bold> This thesis reviews the entrepreneurship research literature regarding the traits of entrepreneurs identified as being important for entrepreneurial success. Different definitions of entrepreneurial success are identified and discussed. The traits most consistently related to success are identified. Connections between the traits and success are identified. Criticism of connecting traits and success are discussed. Finally, implications for entrepreneur, for policy, and for future research are presented.
