|Description||This study will attempt to answer three research questions in regard to the social communities that form around video game livestream chatting. What elements of livestreaming in video game chatting are most popular among chatters? How do livestream chatters describe how they use chat on Twitch.tv? What do chatters do with the experiences and knowledge obtained while chatting? These questions will be answered using two different direct research methods, content analysis and survey research. The results of this research will provide insight into the world of video game livestream chatters and what their experiences using this technology mean to them.|
