Abstract
Recrystallization studies were made on vanadium metal of three commercial purities. Arc melted vanadium metal was cold worked by swaging step-wise to reductions of 30, 50 and 753»« Recrystallization temperatures as determined by Vickers hardness and metallography were found to be from 600 to 1000°C, de pending upon the purity of the metal.
