Abstract
Late Cenozoic volcanism, mineralization, and evidence of a collapse caldera have been studied in the San Martin area located in Altiplano of southern Peru. Hydrothermal breccias and discontinuous quartz veins are hosted largely be rhyolitic lavas. Late Cenozoic volcanism can be broken down into four significant groups of rocks.
