Abstract
Metamorphic and metasomatic alteration of fine grained Mesozoic carbonate sediments by a late Cretaceous granodiorite has produced a series of small calc-silicate skarns, most containing tungsten mineralization, in the southeastern Sierra Nevada Mountains.
