Numerical analysis of infiltration and near-surface percolation in relation to Yucca Mountain, Nevada
(University of Nevada, Reno, 1987)
Infiltration and near-surface percolation in relation to Yucca Mountain were studied. Numerical analysis of infiltration into soil and bedrock at Yucca Mountain was useful in delineating parameter control within the flow system.
Streamflow infiltration and groundwater recharge through the unsaturated zone at Vicee Canyon, Nevada
(University of Nevada, Reno, 1988)
Streamflow and the unsaturated zone were monitored in Vicee Canyon to calculate groundwater recharge and to estimate the amount of water that would become recharge if the streamflow was augmented.
Some aspects of the hydrogeology of the Spring Mountains and Pahrump Valley, Nevada, and environs, as determined by spring evaluation
(University of Nevada, Reno, 1966)
The hydrogeology of the Spring Mountains and Pahrump Valley, Nevada has been evaluated. Analysis of geology indicates that nearly all springs are controlled by impermeable fault contacts or exposure of cavernous systems.
Infiltration and sediment production on the big sage type near Eastgate, Nevada
(University of Nevada, Reno, 1972)
Infiltration experiments were used to analyze runoff and erosion losses on marginal big sagebrush sites in central Nevada.
