Nevada State Climate Office

 

The Nevada State Climate Office serves the people of Nevada by maintaining descriptions of, reporting on, and providing access to information on the climate in the state, including atmospheric conditions and levels of precipitation.

The Office collaborates with, advises, and promotes climate data collection, interpretation, and research in conjunction with local, state, and federal agencies and the governor’s office and is responsible for drought planning in the state.

The Office participates within and serves as a member of the national and regional network of state climatologists.
