Our department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences is dedicated to providing the highest level of training to medical students in behavioral sciences and clinical psychiatry. We also offer a psychiatric residency training program that teaches future psychiatrists to integrate biomedical and psychosocial approaches into patient care.

Our highly skilled physicians are not only training the next generation of psychiatrists, they also provide high quality comprehensive patient care to individuals in Reno, Tahoe and the surrounding northern Nevada area.
