The University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine, Department of Pediatrics is dedicated to the education of medical students and residents in the art and science of Pediatrics as well as providing state-of-the-art clinical care for children.

We are committed to the development of excellent clinical skills, humanistic qualities, leadership and professionalism in our students. Our department must function as a resource and as an advocate for children’s health issues confronting Northern Nevada.

Research is an essential part of our mission as it advances scientific knowledge, and enhances our ability to educate and improve the health care of children in this region.
